Admission Policy

1. Non-Discrimination:

Little Rose Convent School does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, gender, nationality, or ethnic origin in its admission process. Admission is open to all students who meet the school's academic and behavioral standards.

2. Age Criteria:

Admission to various grades is based on age criteria as per the guidelines set by the school board. The school reserves the right to verify the age of applicants through appropriate documentation.

3. Entrance Assessment:

Applicants may be required to undergo an entrance assessment to evaluate their academic readiness. The assessment may include subjects such as English, Mathematics, and General Knowledge.

4. Interview:

Following the entrance assessment, applicants and their parents may be interviewed by the school principal or admission committee. The interview helps assess the student's interests, aspirations, and suitability for admission.

5. Priority Consideration:

Priority may be given to siblings of current students, children of alumni, and applicants with special needs, provided they meet the school's admission criteria.

6. Documentation:

Parents/guardians are required to submit a completed application form along with necessary documents such as birth certificate, previous academic records, photographs, and any other documents specified by the school.

7. Admission Decision:

Admission decisions are made based on the applicant's performance in the entrance assessment, interview, availability of seats, and adherence to the school's admission criteria. The school's decision is final and non-negotiable.

8. Enrollment and Fee Payment:

Upon admission confirmation, parents/guardians are required to complete the enrollment process by paying the admission fees, tuition fees, and other applicable charges within the stipulated time frame.

9. Orientation Program:

Newly admitted students and their parents are encouraged to attend an orientation program conducted by the school before the commencement of classes. The orientation provides information about school policies, curriculum, facilities, and extracurricular activities.

10. Withdrawal Policy:

The school reserves the right to withdraw admission or take disciplinary action against students whose conduct or performance is deemed unsatisfactory or detrimental to the school community.

11. Review and Amendments:

This admission policy is subject to periodic review and may be amended by the school management as deemed necessary. Any changes to the policy will be communicated to parents/guardians in a timely manner.
